鶏炭火焼 (Jidori) is a typical chicken specialty of Miyazaki. Tender chicken meat is placed on a grill fueled by a charcoal fire. Chicken fat is added to the embers to revive the flames, which give the meat a smoky flavor and a tender texture.
The charcoal grilled chicken assortment 鶏炭火焼セット consists of two individual packages of 100g each:
100g of original smoky flavor grilled chicken
100g of spicy yuzu flavor grilled chicken. The meat is seasoned with ゆず胡椒 - an original spice blend made from Yuzu.
Cooking tip: Place the pack of charcoal grilled chicken in a pot of boiling water to reheat it for 5 minutes. Then open the pack and enjoy!
